Home Chats
Dr. Tim Elmore and the Growing Leaders team have shared a new free resource called Home Chats. Each Home Chat guide uses a Habitude to build an applicable life skill by utilizing relevant visuals and activities to create a fun way for parents, teachers, coaches, or mentors to engage with students. There are eight total Home Chat guides which will be released every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday through April 3 as outlined below:

• Home Chat #1: Trains & Tracks - Structure (released Wednesday, March 18)
• Home Chat #2: Hosts & Guests - Intentional Relationships (released Friday, March 20)
• Home Chat #3: Trade-Offs - Wise Choices (released Monday, March 23
• Home Chat #4: Fountains & Drains - Positive Attitudes (released Wednesday, March 25)
• Home Chat #5: Homes & Apartments -Ownership (released Friday, March 27)
• Home Chat #6: Filter or No Filter- Authenticity (released Monday, March 30)
• Home Chat #7: Opportunity Statue - Time Management (coming Wednesday, April 1)
• Home Chat #8: Three Buckets - Control (coming Friday, April 3)

Adobe Is Giving Students Free Home Creative Cloud Access
Adobe is helping students who are stuck at home because of the Covid-19 outbreak with free, temporary remote access to Creative Cloud apps like Photoshop and InDesign. In order to get access to the apps your school or college needs to be an education customer and the temporary licenses will only be available until May 2020. But it's a potential lifeline for those who need to continue their Adobe-reliant studies or coursework outside of their school or campus. Click here for more information. 

FREE INTERNET

• Comcast: The company is offering Internet Essentials as an affordable way for homes who receive public assistance to get online. The plan is available for about $10 per month. In addition, they are increasing speeds for all customers in response to emergency measures associated with the coronavirus, and new customers receive two months free.
• Charter/Spectrum: Charter Communications is offering free Spectrum broadband and Wi-Fi access for 60 days to households with K-12 or college students at any service level up to 100 Mbps. Installation fees are also waived. This is only for homes that do not already have a Spectrum broadband subscription.
• Mediacom: This ISP is upgrading its low-cost Connect2Compete internet program and offering 60 days of free service for qualifying families who subscribe before May 15.
• Suddenlink: New household with K-12 or college students who do not currently have home internet access can get free internet for 60 days.
