The Agriculture Teachers Association of Texas is once again gearing up for our annual Professional Development Conference set for July 22 - 26, 2024. Agriculture science teachers from across the Lone Star State will travel to Dallas to learn the latest in agricultural education practices and develop 21st Century leaders in agriculture though proven rigor, global relevance and improving relationships.
In Texas, there are over 2,500 agricultural science teachers impacting more than 220,000 students enrolled in agricultural education classes at the secondary level. The Professional Development Conference for the Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources Cluster is a five-day conference for these teachers to attend educational workshops and classes to enhance their current teaching methods and to keep up with the latest curriculum developments in agricultural education.
